Delete Your Account

You can delete your Pirates account at any time. Pirates is published by Zygimantas MB.

Deletion is immediate and permanent.

In the app

  1. Open Pirates. The app starts in a match; the home screen appears when the match ends.
  2. On the home screen, tap the person icon to move it into the ring, then tap the ring to open Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm with the check mark. If you signed in with Apple, the Sign in with Apple sheet opens once more so that Apple can unlink Pirates from your Apple account; continue to finish the deletion, or cancel to keep your account.

By request

If you no longer have the app, email support@playpirates.com with the subject "Delete my account" and tell us whether you signed in with Apple or Google. We answer within a few days.

The server identifies your account by the pseudonymous identifier from your Apple or Google sign-in. It stores no name or email address, so an email alone does not let us find your account. We will reply with the steps above: sign in with the same Apple or Google account on any device, and the deletion removes everything stored for it.

What is deleted

Everything stored for your account: your coins, level, and matches played; any Pirate Pass; the link between your account and your Apple or Google sign-in; and your sessions on every device. A pass is forfeited without refund. Your purchase history stays with the App Store or Google Play, as it does for any purchase.

What is kept

Nothing that identifies you. Crash reports and aggregate match statistics are kept for a limited time and then deleted automatically, as the Privacy Policy describes.

After deletion

You can sign in again with the same Apple or Google account whenever you like. You start over as a new pirate, at the first level with no coins.

Playing without an account

If you never signed in, your pirate is known only by a random identifier held by that installation: no name, email address, or device identifier is stored with it, and nothing about it can be connected to you. To delete it all the same, sign in on that device first, then follow the steps above.
