Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Zygimantas MB ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the Pirates mobile game, the playpirates.com website, and related services (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. The Service

Pirates is an online multiplayer game in which players negotiate the division of treasure and vote on the outcome. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice.

4. Accounts

You may use the Service as a guest or sign in with a supported identity provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may maintain only one account and may not create additional accounts to manipulate matches or circumvent restrictions.

5. Acceptable Use

In connection with the Service, you agree that you will not:

  • exploit bugs, use cheats or automation tools, or tamper with the Service or its network traffic;
  • collude with other players outside the game to gain an unfair advantage;
  • disrupt, degrade, or interfere with the Service or other players' use of it;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

6. Virtual Items

The Service may include virtual currency, levels, or other virtual items. Virtual items are licensed, not sold; they have no monetary value, are not redeemable for real currency, and may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside the Service. We may modify, rebalance, or remove virtual items at any time without liability to you.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, artwork, names, and other content, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for private, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, the license granted in Section 7 ends. For deletion of your account and personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where applicable law so provides.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or this website. Your continued use of the Service after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
